SAFEchild Alert

Uniquely, this service allows you to be proactive with regards to the prevention of child abuse, by providing you with relevant, timely and topical child protection information, tailored to your organisation's particular circumstances.

Through SAFEchild's multi agency links we scrutinise child abuse cases and monitor ongoing child protection issues. This enables us to provide you with detailed, up to the minute and proactive advice on what actions you can take to safeguard children, together with advance warning of any forthcoming regulatory changes.

SAFEchild Alert Bulletins all follow the same format; the headline story followed by a synopsis of the issues involved and then practical advice you can follow to help safeguard children and meet your organisation's duty of care. As the service is tailored, you receive only Bulletins that are relevant to you.

Via an annual subscription you receive child protection advice that is:

  • Accurate - the data is provided by the courts and legal services, children's social care services and probation services, supported by the latest research on the subject.
  • Ongoing - an uninterrupted 12-month service with automatic renewal reminders being sent to ensure continuity of your service.
  • Pertinent - via the details you provide when you subscribe we ensure you receive only the child protection information that is relevant to your circumstances.
  • Direct - SAFEchild Alert Bulletins are sent by email directly to the computer of the nominated individual within your organisation.
  • Value for money - costs from less than 5p per day (maximum 54p), depending on status.

Child abuse occurs in any setting. SAFEchild have been working with voluntary and commercial and organisations since 1999 and have an enviable record of service and support.

SAFEchild Alert is a unique service that provides you with child abuse facts and information together with professional advice on how to prevent such child abuse occurring. As a charity dedicated to safeguarding children, the cost has been set as low as possible, to ensure budget limitations do not prevent any organisation from being proactive with regard to the prevention of child abuse.
