SAFEchild is a registered umbrella organisation of the Criminal Record Bureau (CRB). However as a safeguarding charity, we like to think there are a few things that make us a little bit different:

• The CRB process is generally straight forward, however if the CRB check results in a positive disclosure then you need to be able to make an informed decision as to whether the individual is safe to work with children. SAFEchild provides support free of charge to help you.
  
  
• It is essential that an individual's identity documents are validated correctly. For instance, could you spot a fake passport? Our expert team check all documents on your behalf to avoid this problem.
  
  
• All proceeds after our costs, are put back into the charity to help protect the welfare of children and young people.
