Raising Awareness of Child Protection

For all those who work with children, young people and/or their families.

Participants will :

- Learn about national and local policies, guidelines and procedures for safeguarding children.
- Gain awareness of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children & young people and the need for safer working practices.
- Acquire an increased understanding of the recognition of child abuse.
- Be able to respond appropriately to child protection issues.
- Have an opportunity to discuss best practice.
