Our face-to-face child protection trainers are all experienced social workers, teachers or former police officers, who are child protection practitioners and experts in their respective fields. A comprehensive child protection training course specifically designed for anyone who comes into contact with children, young people and families. It is compliant with local SCB requirements as detailed in Working Together 2010, "What to do if you're worried a child is being abused" 2006 and also meets Ofsted's Level One criteria. It covers legislation and guidance, the recognition of child abuse, how to respond to concerns and safer working practices.
Leading On Child Safeguarding. A child protection training course specifically developed for the nominated child protection lead and deputy, who have already completed an Introduction course. It is compliant with local SCB requirements as detailed in Working Together 2010 and "What to do if you're worried a child is being abused" 2006. It covers child protection policies and other vital prosedures, identifying concerns, making referrals, handling allegations and complaints; alongside managing E-Safety.
How To Protect Your Child From Abuse. Written by a leading child protection expert, this is a free online child protection training course to teach parents how to keep their children safe. The course signposts the correct referral routes and sources of support.
Rigorous Recruitment And Best Practice. An in depth face-to-face child protection course for all managers and recruiters, to consider child protection best practice with regards to staff recruitment, induction and supervision. It is compliant with the DfE (Department for Education) guidance, SCB recruitment requirements as detailed in Working Together 2010, Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education 2007 and Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
E-Safety. An in-depth face-to-face child protection course for parents, carers, children and young people. It considers the dangers of the Internet and what steps can be put in place to keep everyone safe.
